Synopsis:
With the new Ranger wreaking havoc and bringing destruction, Andros realizes the scale of his mistake, and that the planet is in grave danger. But when the deadly Ranger seeks a new host, an unexpected and much-beloved victim becomes the next tool of death, at the expense of the Omegas…

Story – 5 out of 5: Well, that took a dark turn didn’t it? On one hand, I’m glad Andros was finally starting to come to his senses. However, the apparent deaths of the Omega Rangers was unexpected. I am intrigued by what has happened to Jason though. When Death Ranger possessed Zhane, his morphed form pretty much stayed the same, other than the mouth piece of his helmet looking like skull teeth. Yale also doesn’t change much other than the mouth piece. But Jason looks like he got a super-mode. The whole helmet was changed, the shoulder parts look like armor now, and even his gloves have changed. I wonder if that will be addressed. On a lighter note, I like how Kevor and Journey were able to take out these bad guys, despite them being set up as a big threat. And Journey appears to have aged up again, which will probably complicate things with Kevor.

Art – 5 out of 5: I love the art here. Is there anything more I can say about Renna’s artwork? He even managed to make Journey’s aging up both subtle but noticable.

Overall – 5 out of 5: Great set up for the big 100th issue! Can’t wait to see how our heroes save the other heroes! This is going to be a long wait!
