On a recent video posted by Ninja Kidz, it was announced that a 4K remaster is being worked on for Netflix, and that they have been hired to basically help promote the remaster.
As of now, take this with a grain of salt, as no official announcements have been made. From what I understand, the MMPR episode footage & effects were not of high enough quality to achieve a 1080p HD remaster, so I’m not sure how a 4K remaster is possible.
Still, it does bring up a few questions. Does this include all 3 seasons? Could this be MMPR: The Movie instead of the show? Hopefully we will know soon.
